Bungie’s Destiny Concept Art Is A Sight to Behold

I know these images are old but hey, I still can’t contain my excitement for Bungie’s Destiny and how this game will likely affect my decision to get either a PS4 or X Box One. For those of you who may not know, Bungie is the studio responsible for the first three games of the Halo Series. Halo was (and still is) one of the biggest franchises in recent memory and its exclusivity with the XBOX platform has resulted in the fattening of Microsoft’s coffers and its gaining a decent head start with last generation’s console wars.

What I do remember from playing Halo: Combat Evolved (PC) was the combat and awesome looking environments. I also vaguely remember thinking during that time that in terms of its environment, it would be pretty hard to top the game. Of course, I realized that I was naive since there were tons of other games that came after it that looked even better. For its time and platform though, it looked really awesome!

Can Bungie replicate their previous Halo successes with Destiny? We really don’t know for sure. Based on the feedback from the Destiny Alpha and Beta testers, it seems that the game is really fun to play. If there’s one thing that we’re actually sure of though, it would have to be the fact that Destiny will be a very beautiful game.

If you’ve played the Destiny Beta on PS4 please do tell us your thoughts about the game on the comments below.
